When it comes to supplements, Le-Vel is no doubt one of the most popular brands in the market today.  And Thrive, the brand’s flagship product lineup, proves to be a hot commodity in the fitness world due to its still growing – and thriving – number of loyal followers.

However, if you’ve been following my posts in SuppReviewers.com for a while now, you probably already know that apart from positive user feedback, I also take note of the ingredients that a specific product contains to give it the green light.

So how about we give the Le-Vel Thrive ingredients a closer look in a bit to see if the whole thing is really worth having in your supplement checklist anytime soon?

A Quick Primer on Le-Vel Thrive

Le-Vel Thrive is basically a lineup of wellness products made for men and women that range from daily multivitamins, dietary shakes to nutritional supplements. These products are primarily designed to boost stamina and endurance, improve metabolism as well as enhance cognitive performance.

Moreover, Le-Vel Thrive also offers a variety of supplements headlined in the “Thrive 8-Week Weight Loss Experience” that are aimed at firing up the body’s overall lipolytic function to speed up the elimination of unwanted fat and shed off excess pounds more efficiently.

Here’s a rundown of the products that are included in the Le-Vel Thrive product lineup:

  • Thrive Lifestyle Mix is a powdered supplement that features Le-Vel’s proprietary “Premium Lifestyle Mix.” It can be combined with smoothies and fruit juices to make them not just tastier, but healthier as well.
  • Thrive M is a multivitamin designed for men taken once or twice per day. According to Le-Vel, it can help with supporting lean muscle health, staving off inflammations, boosting cognitive performance, enhancing digestive and metabolic function as well as improving the immune system.
  • Thrive W is a multivitamin formulated for women taken once or twice daily. Now while its beneficial effects are closely similar with Thrive M, its components are meticulously put together to work effectively when absorbed by the female body.
  • Thrive Lifestyle DFT is an innovative weight loss patch that simply needs to be attached to the skin to get it going. Besides helping take metabolism up a notch, it also helps control the appetite and supports mental clarity. By the way, DFT stands for “Derma Fusion Technology” in case you were wondering. There is also DFT Black Label option available if you’re looking for a more potent formulation.

So What are the Ingredients of these Le-Vel Thrive Products?

Now while it is impossible to list down all of the ingredients used to make the products in the Le-Vel Thrive lineup, let’s only take a look at key components that were utilized to manufacture the same:

Green Coffee Bean Extract is basically derived from ripe coffee beans that haven’t been roasted yet. Green coffee beans are very abundant in chlorogenic acid, which has been seen to help in bolstering the body’s ability to burn fat when metabolism kicks in. There are also medical studies that show green coffee bean extract can also help in controlling the appetite and regulating dietary carbohydrate absorption.

Garcinia Cambogi is sourced from the Malabar Tamarind, a tree that bears small pumpkin-like fruits and is endemic in the regions of Africa, India and Southeast Asia. Although it was primarily used as a culinary ingredient, recent medical studies show that it has a significant effect to the body’s metabolic function. Garcinia Cambogi is pretty abundant in hydroxycitric acid (HCA) that blocks fat by inhibiting the activity of a major enzyme called citrate lyase.

CoQ10 or Coenzyme Q-10 is a type of vitamin-like substance that has a number of benefits when absorbed by the body in a regular basis. Besides having the ability to boost the immune system, it can also help in keeping metabolism up to par, speeding up the recovery of the muscles after intense exercise, preventing gum problems as well as staving off Parkinson’s disease.

White Willow Bark comes from the bark of the Salix alba tree and is very abundant with salicin, which gets converted to the aspirin precursor, salicylic acid. Apart from being able to bring down fevers, salicylic acid also helps ease pain. This is why it’s called “herbal aspirin.” Interestingly, white willow bark has been seen to soothe menstrual cramps, keep acne at bay, help maintain ideal blood pressure levels, ease lower back pain, reduce headaches as well as prevent heart attacks.

Cosmoperine or tetrahydropiperine (THP) is extracted from black peppercorns. Clinical tests show that it can improve the bioavailability of healthful substances like nutraceutical herbal extracts, coenzymes and vitamins and minerals. This makes it easier for the body to absorb their beneficial components and trigger their positive effects not just quicker, but also more efficiently in the process.

ForsLean comes from a type of herb called coleus forskohlii that has long since been a staple in Asian traditional medicine for its benefits in boosting the metabolism, easing menstrual cramps, alleviating irritable bowel syndrome, preventing hypertension, clearing up rashes and keeping respiratory  issues like asthma at bay.

Irvingia Extract is derived from the African mango (Irvingia gabonensis) that is native to Western Africa. It is also called ogbono and dika. Based on a number of medical studies, the extract from this fruit improves the body’s production of leptin that plays a key role in suppressing hunger and controlling blood sugar levels so they won’t surge, which can lead to cravings. There are also tests that reveal Irvingia Extract can have a positive effect in the faster breakdown of fat particles during metabolism.

Grape Seed Extract is sourced from the seeds of grapes and is pretty loaded with great stuff like oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes (OPC’s) and antioxidants, which are quite helpful in enhancing the immune system, preventing cancer, keeping nerves in tiptop shape as well as other benefits like inhibiting macular degeneration, atherosclerosis and the onset of high levels of bad cholesterol.
