Review Summary:

We don't see a lot of innovative bodybuilding supplements nowadays. It's like everyone's already accustomed to a certain formula and they're sticking to it. While this might yield solid results, the best ones go to people who strive for perfection and are not afraid of trying something new... and that "something new" is definitely a proper tag for AltRed which brings an interesting phytonutrient formula that could prove to be extremely important for professional athletes. Let's see what's it all about!

Professional athletes must be on the lookout for new, innovative supplements at all times. This is to ensure they're optimally prepared for their next competition to perform at their very best. Of course, this can be a difficult task since the market is abundant with various supplements. Of course, not all of them are good, but I don’t need to be the one to tell you that…

But, what I can tell you is that AltRed by Sur is one of those new, innovative products… and everything points to the fact that it works like a charm. It is based on new plant-based ingredients called phytonutrients. They are basically natural chemicals found in various types of plants, making them ideal for professional athletes.

So, if you are interested in this product that can not only increase your endurance but also take good care of speeding up your recovery, then make sure you stick until the end. That’s because I plan on doing a thorough review on AltRed, dissecting its ingredients, side effects, pros and cons and much more!

What's inside AltRed by Sur?

To fully understand a product, first we have to take a closer look at its label as well as all of its respective ingredients.

AltRed Ingredients

Beetroot Extract (beta Vulgaris L.)

Even though this might seem like the ordinary Beetroot Extract that you see in a wide variety of supplement, it is actually quite different. With a patented extraction process backed up by scientifically research, folk over at Sur have unleashed a 25% Betalains compound which has magnificent effects on the performance of professional athletes. Whether we’re talking about bikers, marathoners, hikers or some other type of demanding and prolonged sports activity, there is no doubt Betalains can do the trick. Long story short, 25% Betalains in Beta Vulgaris extract will do wonders in terms of extra endurance and muscle recovery. And, at the end of the day, that’s all that matters to professional athletes.

Are there any side effects caused by AltRed?

Believe it or not, AltRed by Sur is an incredibly safe to use product. Take it with a grain of salt though since it is brand-new and doesn’t have a lot of feedback online. However, considering it’s GMO-free, gluten-free and kosher, you can basically get the idea that this is one top notch product.

On a side note, just like with other supplements primarily targeted to professional athletes, AltRed by Sur should not be consumed if you’re pregnant, nursing or take any kind of medications. If you want to stay on the safe side, perhaps it would be a good idea to bring AltRed to your doctor and ask him for a second opinion.

Are there any reviews available for this supplement?

As I’ve said above, AltRed by Sur is a brand-new product so it is not surprizing to see a lack of reviews online. Apart from the testimonials available at AltRed’s official website, there aren’t that many others out there. However, there are a couple of good ones I managed to dig up from another source. Here’s what people have to say about this supplement:

“Up until recently, I was only a semi-professional (or amateur, if you please) runner… and I gotta say that AltRed packed quite the punch for me. It helped me reach the first 10 spots on my local Summer sprint meeting which let to huge opportunities for me as a professional athlete. It sports clean energy, helps me with fatigue and relaxes my muscles after demanding running sessions. 10 out of 10 for sure!”

“The pills are easy to swallow (which is a great thing coming from someone who usually has difficulties with this) and they’re easy on the stomach meaning I did not have any digestive problems. As far as the effects are concerned, I can definitely testify I felt an increase in my endurance. Half marathon went a lot quicker (and with less train on my body) than usual, probably reflecting on the AltRed quality. I’ll buy it again!”

After taking a look at these 2 reviews, here’s a quick look at one from AltRed’s official website:

AltRed Review

Pros

  • Brand new formula
  • Betalains are extremely potent ingredients
  • GMO-free, gluten-free, kosher

Cons

  • Not enough solid evidence
  • Pricey
  • Primarily targeted to professional athletes

Conclusion

In the end, I believe there isn’t anything else left to say about AltRed By Sur. Needless to say, we are talking about a highly innovative formula that has years of research and experience backing it up. However, it’s still very early in its product-lifecycle so there aren’t that many reviews out there. Despite that, just by looking at their explanations and research behind their Phytonutrients, it’s safe to say they are onto something amazing.

Where to buy AltRed?

If you want to buy this supplement, I’m afraid there are limited options available. Once again, this is because it’s very new and doesn’t possess a lot of distribution channels. With that said, AltRed by Sur is only available for purchase from their official website.

Ingredients

Beetroot Extract (25% Betalains)

Also referred to as Beet pigments or betanin, this ingredient is known for increasing athletic performance and helping with muscle recovery. Sur takes it one step further with a patented isolation process in which they take Beetroot and extract clean Betalain from all the sugars and nitrates. This creates the cleanest possible Betalains which, as I’ve already mentioned above, can greatly improve one’s athletic performance and help with recovery.

Side Effects

At the moment, AltRed by Sur looks to be pretty safe. However, if you’re nursing, pregnant or taking a medication, it might be a good idea to consult with your doctor.

FAQs

What are Phytonutrients?

Phytonutrients are basically natural chemicals found in various types of plants. Also referred to as Phytochemicals, these compounds are not essential for your body to work properly, but their digestion could lead to improved health and other aspects of your life… such as improved endurance and muscle recovery, which is the case with AltRed.

Is this supplement safe?

Considering the formula is gluten-free, GMO-free and kosher, it comes without a doubt that the majority of people will have no issues with consumption. However, it's still too early to conclude this as AltRed has been on the market for a very short period of time.

Does this supplement work?

Even though there are no concrete user reviews, I still firmly believe AltRed works as it should. This is due to the fact Phytonutrients are labeled as potent ingredients and could in fact prove to be of extreme help for professional athletes.

Where can I buy AltRed?

At the moment, AltRed can only be purchased via their official website.

  1. The designation GMO-free is meaningless, as the only GMO beets available are sugar beets. The designation gluten-free is only relevant if you choose to avoid gluten or need to avoid gluten. I’m having a hard time figuring out how a beet could be non-kosher. This product could probably legally use a slew of other designations–low carb! no sugar added! keto-friendly! vegan!–but none these designations have anything to do with whether this is a “top notch” product. None of these designations have anything to do with quality or value. I’m a bit disappointed a supplement reviewer doesn’t know how to distinguish product quality from marketing claims.
