This thing can even make alkaline tea…
When talking about an ionizer, it’s important to bring up the question of water. What kind of water options do you get? Well, it’s safe to say that this ionizer has it all. Want to clean your kitchen and disinfect it simultaneously? Simply set the ionizer to produce acidic pH water levels. Done cleaning and want to grab a glass of alkaline water? No problem! Use the pH alkaline option. You don’t have to worry about hot water either as it can handle temperatures up to 165 degrees Fahrenheit. This means that you could make alkaline tea (which just sounds weird but is very healthy).
You won’t have to worry too much about cleaning the ionizer as it comes with a pre-installed auto-cleaning feature that works in two stages. The first stage is rather quick and occurs 15 minutes after continuous use. This stage lasts for around 10 seconds and it just reverses the titanium plates. The second stage is much more detailed and rigorous; the machine undergoes a process of calcium-buildup removal. Word of caution: If you have hard water, you might want to do some maintenance from time to time. In any case, be sure to clean it manually once a year.
The company sends a cleaning agent with every ionizer so you won’t have to think about buying anything to help you clean it. Oh, one last thing: Air Water Life has made sure to keep safety concerns at the top of their list. Because of this, they’ve received FDA approval regarding the plastics which were used in the construction of this product. Finally, the Aqua-Ionizer Deluxe 9.0 is a lead-free product. There’s a certificate for it called RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
The design is absolutely majestic
Ionizer design is an important factor in determining whether or not you’re willing to purchase a product. Even if everything looks great on paper, if it’s made from poor-quality materials, or if it’s too heavy, large, or anything in between – you might want to look elsewhere.
Fortunately, this ionizer isn’t half bad when it comes to design. When it comes to the materials used, it’s excellent. FDA approved plastics and the use of carbon filters is evidence enough that great care went into the designing of this product.
The downside, however, is its size. It is larger than conventional ionizers and a tad heavy (13 pounds or 6 kilos) but this shouldn’t be too big of an issue, especially when you look at everything else this ionizer has to offer.
High-quality filters are here as well
A high-quality ionizer requires high-quality filters, and that’s exactly what the Aqua-Ionizer Deluxe 9.0 has. We already mentioned that it uses carbon filters (which are the best filters you could get in an ionizer) that last a long time before needing replacement. However, some users reported that their filters lasted for almost two times longer than what was advertised (their filters purified around 6,000 liters). Now, this all depends on water quality but even 4,000 liters is a large number.
The great thing about replacement filters is that they aren’t too expensive and you can order them through the Air Water Life website (plus, there’s the Amazon option). Without filters, you wouldn’t want to drink the water that comes out of the ionizer (since the filters filter out chemicals, metals, Chlorine, etc.).
