The Ingredients in Harmony

So what's in the product that helps you to regulate these hormones and get you back on track? Let's take a detailed look at some of the main ingredients to get an idea…

1st Phorm Harmony Review

Calcium D-Glucarate
Calcium D-Glucarate (CDG) is made when calcium is combined with glucaric acid, a chemical compound found naturally in the body and food like fruits and vegetables. People in the past were able to get enough CDG because of the low amounts of environmental toxins but as toxin exposure has increased, people need more CDG to help excrete harmful toxins.

MACA (root)
The maca plant is also known as ‘Peruvian ginseng’. Traditionally, the maca root has been consumed by the natives of the Andes as a natural remedy to various illnesses. It is primarily used today in normalizing menopause symptoms [1], improving sexual function, supporting mood and enhancing energy.

KSM 66® Ashwagandha Root Extract
KSM-66 is an ashwagandha extract made by Ixoreal Biomed. It is clinically proven to help reduce stress-related food cravings, enhance memory, promote endurance, strength, muscle size, muscle recovery rate and enhance sexual performance.

Chasteberry (fruit)
Chasteberry is also known as ‘the women’s herb’. This herb helps alleviate the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome such as cramping. It has also been clinically proven to be effective at reducing hot flashes, bloating, sleep disturbances, and various mood disorders.

SerinAid® Phosphatidylserine (PS)
SerinAid® PhosphatidylSerine (PS), manufactured by Chemi Nutra, plays a critical role in maintaining and improving key brain functions such as prevention of memory loss, reduction of stress, improvement in athletic activities, and hastening recovery in active and athletic individuals.

Diindolymethane (DIM) is found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli but to get the most out of it, you have to consume at least 2 pounds of these cruciferous vegetables each day. DIM may help prevent cancer, promote improved estrogen metabolism, treat acne and alleviate the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.

Caffeine Anhydrous
Caffeine anhydrous is the powdered form of caffeine. It helps improve alertness, speeds up the heart rate and increases exercise endurance.

Benefits of Harmony

These days, women are busy juggling their careers, studies, parenting, and other responsibilities. Some of them also experience symptoms of PMS or menopause. Because of these things, they are exposed to stress and pains which can make their hormones imbalanced.

1st Phorm is aware of these problems so they created Harmony, a health supplement designed for women who have hormone fluctuations especially when they’re going through PMS or menopause.

This supplement has a lot of benefits. Harmony promises to reduce the symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as fatigue, acne, weight gain, infertility, low sex drive, etc. So if you are always tired, sleep-deprived, and anxious or if you have insatiable food cravings, acne breakouts or even low sex drive, this supplement can help you balance your hormones.

Side Effects of Harmony

First off, check with your doctor, before taking any supplements especially if you have a medical condition and/or are taking any prescription medication. Like other supplements, Harmony can have adverse effects if not taken correctly. This product is not for use by individuals under 18 years of age. Avoid this if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This product also contains milk so it’s not advisable if you’re allergic to milk or if you have lactose intolerance.

Calcium D-Glucarate, MACA (root), and KSM 66® Ashwagandha Root Extract make up the bulk of Harmony so we’ll be focusing on these ingredients.

CDG can interact with alcohol and some medications that act on the liver. Alcohol might decrease the effectiveness of calcium D-glucarate. Taking calcium-D glucarate along with medications changed by the liver such as acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) might also decrease the effectiveness of these medications.

Maca root is generally considered safe for most people. Extracts from maca might act like estrogen so if you have any condition that might be made worse by exposure to estrogen, avoid these extracts.

Large doses of ashwagandha might cause minor effects like stomach upset, diarrhea, and vomiting.

Due to its irritating activity on the gastrointestinal tract, avoid ashwagandha if being treated for peptic ulcer. If you are having surgery, stop taking ashwagandha for 2 weeks before your surgery because it can enhance the effect of sedatives.

It certainly seems to do miracles for women on PMS.

Even though Harmony has enticing and promising benefits, there’s a lack of customer opinions to prove if it’s really effective or not.

Based on our research, the company seems to put together top-notch products and has a proven track record of high-quality supplements, so I'm sure this product won't be any different. The ingredient profile is solid and seems to have the amounts necessary to really do an effective job.
