Review Summary:

Xtend Go is a “BCAA Energy Drink”, which is a new category of products meant to act as an amino-based pre – workout or a pick-me-up between meals. Xtend Go, with its unique formulation, provides a quick energy boost.

Many fitness freaks would definitely search for the product and would really go for the one that boosts their energy up. So far, there are several available energy supplements in the market that boost to supply the much-needed energy. However, Xtend Go stands out due to its unique formulation. This is an incredible product to take between meals for a quick pick-me-up, as a light pre-workout supplement, or anytime when dieting and you need a quick muscle and energy boost.

What is Xtend Go?

Xtend Go can be considered a “BCAA Energy Drink”, which is a new category of products meant to act as an amino-based pre – workout or a pick-me-up between meals. Xtend Go is different – you’re going to see three extra ingredients here that are included and are not available from its competitors, and they are all either very useful for performance or put you in a great mood.

So, let’s see how promising this product is. We’ll get to know the secret of the ingredients, possibility of side effects and of course, the feedback from the users.

Ingredients of Xtend Go

Caffeine Anhydrous. For a pick-me-up product, caffeine anhydrous is requisite. The standard moderate one-cup-of-coffee dose of 100mg is just fine, but some days that’s just not enough.

L – Theanine. Is a non-dietary amino acid that’s mostly found in a few varieties of tea. It induces relaxation without sedation, so it’s usually included in supplements to take any rough edges off the stim content.

L – Glutamine. A conditionally essential amino acid, glutamine is depleted rapidly during prolonged exercise (and that’s the only time supplementation is really necessary outside of certain medical conditions).

Citrulline Malate. Is included here in a relatively minor dose, and not meant for the pumps like most citrulline users like.

Electrolyte Blend. A now-relatively-standard electrolyte blend. Xtend Go carries over the same proprietary blend of Sodium Chloride, Potassium chloride, and Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate seen in the original Xtend.

Any side effects of Xtend Go?

Most of XTEND GO’s ingredients are virtually side effect – free, with the exception of perhaps caffeine. If you don’t do caffeine well but you still want to try XTEND GO, I’d recommend starting with one scoop. One thing to notice is that XTEND GO isn’t loaded with a lot of caffeine per serving, which makes it suitable to take more than 1 scoop if needed.

Pros & Cons

User reviews

“This product is delicious! I actually bought it for my husband and he loves it! I'm not big on caffeine so I use the same brand just the regular BCAA mango. Have bought 2 or 3 so far? I really like it!”

“The added caffeine is life-changing, providing that extra jolt to allow you to really push yourself.”

“Really helps get me through. Flavors are pretty good. Recommended.”

Its unique blend of ingredients is one of the reasons why people opt for this energy supplement. With many users liking its delicious taste, this one may be worth the try.

INGREDIENTS INFORMATION

Caffeine Anhydrous. For a pick-me-up product, caffeine anhydrous is requisite. The standard moderate one-cup-of-coffee dose of 100mg is just fine, but some days that’s just not enough.

L – Theanine. Theanine has been a hot focus-enhancer and jitter-killer popular in new pre workouts lately, but users of cognitive enhancers have long known about it and loved it.

L – Glutamine. A conditionally essential amino acid, glutamine is depleted rapidly during prolonged exercise (and that’s the only time supplementation is really necessary outside of certain medical conditions). 5g per serving is a more standard dose, but since this product isn’t intended to be an intra-workout it isn’t really a big loss.

Note that glutamine does not “build muscle”, but it’s good and cheap to have during workouts, especially if on an empty stomach (like many of Xtend’s users prefer to work out).

Citrulline Malate. Study results that show improvement in exercise performance is up in the 6g to the 8g range. Moreso than the citrulline pumps, the malic acid (from the malate) may boost work capacity and oxygen utilization.

Electrolyte Blend. Trisodium citrate dihydrate is just another term for sodium citrate and is mostly included for flavor.
